I read news today on MyPostalMail’s blog that they have officially opened their services to the public.  Beginning September 1 (Labor Day), students, military, and non-profit organizations can now sign up for a free postal mailbox account.  Unfortunately, I am neither one of those so I cannot test the service until they open it up to the public.  Good news is that their pricing page shows that bloggers will get a free account soon.  I guess I am one of those.

Meanwhile, I would love to hear about your experience if you can get an account.  Their online demo of their mail management system seems a little bit basic and simplistic, but I do like the user interface and how the mail is displayed.  I am sure they will add more features as time goes.  It will be interesting to test out the real image quality by sending yourself some mail.

So if you happen to be a student, a military personnel, or a non-profit, take a look to see how you can view your postal mail online and save the environment at the same time.
